Oh My God
Im sooo sorry that I wasnt online yesterday, I was on punishment...it involved the kitchen and a large amount of water..dont ask.
Well, my mom didnt let me watch SYTYCD yesterday, D< so I watched it like 5 minutes ago with my sis after I woke up. I was dying through the whole thing
Im not going to lie...the VW was terrible. I totally understand what Nigel and Brian were saying. Especially about their arms on the turns. It was painful to watch the replay. But Benjelle made up for it with the KISS! Cat was like "Did you get a little smoochy?" I love her! Even though some people said that there was no kiss, I saw a kiss! Donyelle grabbed Benji's shoulder and put her hand around his neck and they kissed. Not to mention the fact that, the editing job was atrocious! They were kissing and then it cut to the audience, two seconds later Donyelle was up off of the floor. ???
Unless Donny pirouetted and became Champagne Girl, there is no way that she would be able to get up so fast!
So there was a kiss there, and if there wasnt...their lips were close enough for my imagination to take me away, so Im really happy about that!
I LOVE BUNNY! I love him so much. He is so hot! omg! I was about to die! When SexyBack came on, and Bunny walked down the stage, and grabbed his jacket, and licked his lips, and was like "POW" I SAID OH MY GOD! I was rewinding like a physco. That was one of the best moments of that whole season. omg! wow. just...wow Travis..wow. Dang. just dang.
Tranji! Comin at ya! omg I loved that hip hop routine like nothing else! That was so hot. "THATS WASSUP!!!" Tranji, Travis, Bunny, Benji. All I have to say about that routine is NERDTASTIC! lacey!
Travis..what is up with those safety pins?? Although Heidi's dress looked great with those safety pins on them. But if Travis didnt look like a FINE CONTEMPORARY GOD in the last routine, I probably would be afraid that he has safety pins. haha
I love Heidi's solo outfit. Like a fluffy little bunny.
I cant wait until 9:00! Im just gonna pass out!

Yeah the season finale is 2 hours long and airs on the 16th. I guess the good news is the dancers will finally have some rest. The entire top 20 is coming back and I'm sure they're going to do some fun dances. Benji and Donyelle are going to do Too Much Booty again and Travis and Heidi are supposed to do their bench routine.
awesome! benji and donyelle should also do the chacha too, lol. for travis and heidi... I mostly liked their african pop.. uhh and the other dance they did on the night where they did that barbie-ish waltz..
and then I wanna see some ivan and allison again! :DD
Eh it sucks that we have to wait so long though..
GASP - At first I didn't like the Waltz too much, but when I began to replay it 3000 times, I realized that that's almost all in the choreography. In my opinion, Nigel overplayed how much they messed up. I mean, they didn't comment on everything that was wrong with the disco. THEY WANT TO SWAY VOTES.
There's even been speculation that the producers were kinda pissed that they kissed, after they've clearly been telling them to tone it down. : D

I'm sorry Taylor, I love you but I'm gunna have to agree with the Moose on the VW.
It, in my humble not trained in any form of dance opinion, was PERFECT.
I think that the judges didn't like it because it wasn't smooth, but I think it was coreographed that way.
The Judges made a huge deal over the whole thing not being good when in reality, it was as good as any other dance that night (except the group dance and the tranji hip hop :D). I saw mistakes in the disco, and in the contemporary, I didn't find the broadway or the Club salsa as entertaining as the others I have seen on this show.
True, this was in no way as good as their first waltz, but it's really hard to get better than that.
For me, the waltz was the perfect way to end the season of Benjelle, it was like two lonely souls who stuck around after all the guests of a wedding had left and decided they wanted the last dance of the evening.
My favorite solos were in this order: Donyelle. Benji. Travis. Heidi.
I loved the pop routine. LIKE YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
And Moosey, I don't think the producers were mad that they kisses because they kinda didn't, and if they did they certainly did not show it during the show.
Although that editing was weird. One second Benji is dipping Donny, the next the fans are screaming, then Benji's on his knees and Donny is standing upright laughing at him. 0-0 Are they super human? Who moves that fast? Dang you editors.

My condensed commentary of Wednesday's finale:
They all did so well. Donny's was my favorite solo the others gave me deja vu. It was her audition piece (complete w/ same outfit), but it was on "a whole nu-ba le-bel" (MadTv lol).
I wasn't paying attention at all to the disco routine so I can't really comment on it. Sorry, just wasn't that interested.
I hate to say it, but I was disappointed by the VW and again the wardrobe person must have been mad at her again tonight. I've only seen it twice, but maybe I need to see it again, especially after reading Silas' take on it....I still love them and will still be adding the video to the repetoire.
Tyce disappointed me a bit for the second time, but I didn't hate the Dondi routine. It was just ok. They weren't given much to work with, so they did what they could. Those eyelashes were distracting. WTF was that all about? A lot of cleavage from Donny, was hoping there'd be no "wardrobe malfunctions".
I LUUUUURVED(I'm picking up ur lingo MissGlib) the Travelle contemporary. So fluid and technically challenging, IMO (but I'm no dancer). What's that judges from 2 weeks ago, No chemistry? Suck on them apples. Made you cry didn't it Mary, yet you still dissed my Donny at the end. What gives? Kudos to Brian for the standing ovation and giving props were they are due.
Shane's hip-hop piece: Dorky whiteboy hip-hoppers. Loved it. So much fun. "Dorktastic!" Benji reminded me of Jack McFarland dancing to "Dirty Pop". Nigel's comments....Smile and nod.
The salsa routine was great, but did you really expect anything less than "great" from the dancing cousins? I don't think Not.
That group pop routine was HOT and DONNY, not Travis, was the star of that one. That's were my eyes went in the wide shots. She was workin' it!
So it was blatantly obvious who the judges want to win [Travis], and technically he is the best. But this competition calls for the best performer/dancer/entertainer, who draws you in with their versatility, stage prescence, and talent, which they have all proven to have. The voting is over and 'Ameriker" has chosen who they think is the best. Hopefully, they CTB=Chose the Benjelle/Benji (but I wouldn't be bitter if they "CTT" or "CTH" either =) ).
Maybe this wasn't as "condensed" as I thought it would be....Oh well =)
