Relly interview??

So all of you have probably heard by now that Benji won So You Think You Can Dance :)

So now he is prolly gonna have interviews and photoshotts (SQUEE)! So I have heard that he is going to be interviewd of Regis and Kelly and ET. I checked the site and I didnt see anything but I set the DVR to tape and Ill see what happens.

"I think that America finds him great because they want somebody who's got star quality, something special," she said. "I think he could do something like have his own show, like a sitcom. RThe Benji Show,' a sitcom where he didn't have much luck with girls and had all these dream sequences with different characters."-Cat

haha Cat ILU!!!!

"It hasn't sunk in yet," he said. "I'm flying out tomorrow to see Regis, and on the plane I'll be doing a lot of reflection, a lot of prayer, and just planning. I feel like I won the lottery. I don't know what to say or think - I'm kind of numb right now." -Benji

Benji only has a week of rest before going on tour with his fellow dancers, but he's ready for it. "The tour's going to be amazing, and I have gotten a lot of crazy offers," he said. "Celine and I are going to talk and see what happens. There's talks of me doing a swing dance with her. I got a couple movie offers, three of four from Broadway RWicked' and RHairspray' are talking to me, which is hardcore - and an offer from RMADtv,' so I'm keeping my lines open right now and we'll see what fish bites the hardest."-Benji

Title: Listen to Your Heart
Author: sleepykao3, aka Maria
Rating: PG
Warnings: Emotional angst, I think.
Summary: The competition is over, and now Donyelle is conflicted between what she feels for Benji and her relationship with Tahir. In ten days, she and the rest of the SYTYCD gang will be going on tour. Can Donyelle figure out her emotions before then?

Listen to Your Heart
D.H.T.

I know there's something in the wake of your smile
I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yeah
You've built a love but that love falls apart
Your little piece of heaven turns too dark

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going and I don't know why
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yeah
They're swept away and nothing is what is seems
The feeling of belonging to your dreams

Listen to your heart when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do
I don't know where you're going and I don't know why
But listen to your heart before you tell him goodbye...

Prologue: The End of the Beginning

"The winner, of So You Think You Can Dance, two thousand and six, is..."

Everyone was still with bated breath, awaiting the final moment that would mark the triumph of the competition. Donyelle Jones, who had been eliminated earlier in the finale, fixated her eyes on Benji, who had his arm around Travis' shoulder and vice versa and had their heads bowed in anticipation. With all of her heart, Donyelle prayed that Cat would call his name. Although she wished that it were her that would deliver that joyous news to that goofy boy who had not only partnered with her in these months of stress and contest, but had become her best friend, and possibly so much more. That last part scared her, scared her so much. But this wasn't the time to think about that, Donyelle thought. She clutched a scrap of paper in her graceful fingers and held her breath.

"Benji!!"

Wild cheers and applause erupted, and Donyelle felt her hands clapping automatically with tears springing to her eyes. Her ears blurred out what Cat said afterwards; she could only see that Benji had broken down as well, sobbing in pure joy and elation. Donyelle felt her heart was going to burst with pride, and couldn't wait to go to him and give him a huge hug. Finally, a shower of snow white confetti fell upon the stage and everyone started to move toward Benji to congratulate him.

Donyelle's legs carried her in his direction, but she couldn't get to him. The crowd around him had swelled, and Donyelle watched as Benji hugged his cousin Heidi, and then Ivan. As she stepped forward, more people swarmed around him and all Donyelle could do was reach an arm to touch his back. It was alright, she could wait a few more minutes if it meant she would have Benji to herself, to feel his arms around her again and his touch electrify her every nerve. Donyelle knew she wasn't supposed to feel that way, nevermind enjoy it, because she had a boyfriend already. That complicated things a whole lot; it had been a rollercoaster of emotions for Donyelle during these months and still was.

"Donny?"

Looking up, Donyelle realized that Benji had turned around and was looking at her oddly. Without another word, she simply threw her arms around him and sighed as his own arms encircled her.

Suddenly it felt as if no one else was there. It was just them, Benji and Donyelle, amidst all of the chaos. Time stood still, and though only seconds passed, it felt like eternity.

"I'm so proud of you," she whispered in his ear, so that only Benji could hear. His nose was buried in her hair and they were swaying slightly. Donyelle could feel him smile and couldn't help smiling too.

"Thank you, Donny, for everything," he murmured.

"No, thank you," said Donyelle, and slowly disentangled herself from his hold. Giving him a small smile, she pressed the folded piece of paper into his hand. She lightly kissed him on the cheek, ignoring his confused look.

"I'll see you later," and with a wave, Donyelle walked off the stage to meet with her family and boyfriend, where she would have to now face reality, and leave the dream world that the competition had created for her and Benji.
