Benjelle Moment!

Thanks go out to Kemi, Amerdia, and Rachelmie! The majority is just what we've heard already, and her (Amerdia's) personal opinions on dances, but the part near the end in bold is squeediddleyumptious!!!

***SOLOS****: everyone's was amazing as usually
*ryan is RIPPED, oh my lord, he dances shirtless *fans self*. his pants are slit up all the way on the sides, his under clothes are way too close to his flesh at it
looks like you get a full view of everything! he has such great technique, it was just wonderful to watch him and his personality comes out better live then on the show
*allison's solo was actully great, much more edgy/contemporary, she doesn't have a smile on her face the whole time like on the show which always bugged me because her face would never change
*ivan shaved designs into his hair, actually looked good, i love his style oh hip-hop, unique and incredible.
*donyelle, as my favortie dancer i'm quite byassed, i didn't like the solo at first, can't quite figure out why, maybe because i'm not too keen on her outfit, but as it
went on she exuded more energy and commanded everyone's attention, just awsome to watch, absofreaking stunningly gorgeous.
*benji,contemp/swing style, he pulled a dimitry and yanked his shirt off after his solo, stoof up and then cover his nipples with the shirt, too funny. my guess is he did this because dimitry was doing the intro to the video of the 1st 10 that were eliminated and people started yelling 'take your shirt off'(he broke character and started laughing, waved this hand to signal he wasn't going to)
*heidi, she as grown on me, much better live IMO, i had to agree with nigel that she scrunched her face up too much, not anymore.
*natalie, gorgeous as well, extremly technical, like her better live also, aslo i'm digging the red hair
*martha, not wild about her outfit, but that girl can leap! amazing
*travis, he will be a coregrapher some day, most likely legendary, he's got such a depth for musicality that cannot be taught. amazing technique and leaps as well. very similar to his solos on the show.
*dimitry, also danced shirtless with his black flare pants(not sure of the technical name). same type of solo he did on the show, was hoping it would be something
different, but it wasn't. jessica brought out a red cape for him to use near the end of the routine. yes i said jessica, she took allison's place for this part.
***PAIRs*******:
*tmb - awsome energy, the whole wardrobe umm *incident* we've seen in pics of b's pants, it's just how they are made, he definitly needs a new tailor as there is too
much left to the imagination. also, i couldn't see clearly enough through the screen before the dance started while b and d were changing so now shippy sightings. d does
stay in a backbend much longer and b helps her up, awww :).
*bench routine - seriously people a standing ovation? oh well, it's a beautiful routine, don't get me wrong, i like the emotion evoked from it, it just wasn't my favorite contemporary routine. i will say that heidi has gotten better in being more fluid in her movements on this dance since the show, good routine.
*georgia -seriously people no standing ovation? :) in brian freidman's words 'i love when dance is art', absolutley beautiful. the bench contemporary cannot even compare IMO.
*why - i think i've seen this routine too many times already and em just not impressed by it anymore, but still beautiful and good! and props to ivan for having no training and being able to do this
*VFW - benji intro's dance. for my fellow benjelle shippers...
re: the benjelle rumours "all i can say is this, i don't
know", b did not make any air quotes when saying this.
other sayings re: him and donyelle "something special", " a
connection, a spark, something that any partner dancer would
dream for"..."veinesse waltz that was very special to both of
us". i can't remember his exact word atm for her intro
(nothing shippy), but they were not 'my lovely/beautiful
partner, donyelle'.
amazing chemistry as always in this dance smiling/gazing throughout, eventhough it was coreographed i still like it :). donyelle's dress is stunning black/magenta. the ending pose was not as intense as the show, but they do end with each others palm on cheek, staring into each other's eyes and smiling
*b/d brodway - electric vibe that pulsated throughout the theater. 'you can't help but smile'. b jumped so high and far back this time so as not to hurt d, it was funny. the joy these two emitted was contagious.
*dimitry/nat samba - much better than the show finale, it was coreographed by dimitry according to the intro
*ivan/marth hip-hop/krump(crump?) - ivan should have pulled this out of the hat during the show, he was made to krump.
*ivan/allison umbrella hip-hop - cute would be my word for it.
*paso doble - intense, b introing trying to sound all masculine was funny
*cuban rumba - i always liked this dance, fun and sexy together, liked it even better live, oh and ryan dances shirtless again...
*mabmo - fast! d intro's this with the same script as other shows "when benji could pick a dance, he didn't pick me....it's ok because they are cousins...welcome heidi and benji", for my shippers there was no 'my partner benji'. eventhough the jealousy is scripted i still like it ;)
*wcs - ahhh too pink! as i already stated, b needs a new tailor...those pink ruffle cuffs
*tranji - what can i say...'dorktastic', fun dance to watch and those two are going to knock each other unconcsious one of these days with there ending move.
*travis/natalie - wow! amazing! so much technique and athletism, nat's best dance of the night.
*steamed heat - travis an marth were on fire in this one.
**there was no contemp. doll with dimitry and martha performed.
****GROUP****:
poison - jessica danced for allison, cute ending/segway into tranji. b and travis come out in custom and the other kinda point and make fun of them.
cell-block - hot! ***wardrobe malfunction*** one of travis's suspenders came undone, when he would do pirouettes it looked like it could take someone down for the count! the guys were scrumptious in black pants and white tanks.
bye bye blackbird - jessica in for martha, i believe this was because marth/ivan's hip-hop was right after this. like the routine much better with more dancers.
disco - jaymz in for benji, no one can wear a lesiure suit like musa can, sorry guys. the girls looked hot though, donyelle in her purple mini...wow *girl crushing right now*
ramalama - jessica in for donyelle, loved it! oh, since b has his pants ripped in this piece he has large stitches drawn on his legs in black marker.
sexy back - best group dance. everyone rocked their performances. b's zoolander impersonation was on. b then went into a bit about intermission, what's up next. lights go out, then everyone turns around and they have blinking red eyeglasses on dance a bit and then go off stage
***AFTER SHOw****:
*my camera batteris died so i wasn't able to get pics with any of the dancers, sorry diamond - i did try for the pic of d with a sign re: the montage, i even wrote it up before hand! it will have to be tasked to those going to the detroit show on tuesday.
*security gaurds were nice to help with photes, nat or martha commented on how nice they were because he other cities the gaurds wouldn't help
*the dancers didn't chit-chat much at all, seemed generally happy to see the fans, they are getting the hang of signing/pics though,by the end of the tour they will have it down to a science. many commented on how cold it was outside (low 50's). one said minneapolis was the coldest so far(marth?)

*now i did say the gaurds were nice with the pics, but they only let the dancers stay outside for 45mins and then made them leave. many people were upset because b went through a bunch of people just signing and said he would be back for pics, but then wasn't allowed to

*drum roll....the shippiest moment of the night came outside
-b was talking and signing for fans, d came up behind him and
places her hand on the side of his stomach and rubs it up
and down, then moved on down the line.
-you can tell she thought nothing of the gesture, it just
came naturally
and on that lovely note i am content!
i'm sure i will remember more in the morning, i fell asleep typing this up! let me know if you have more questions and i'm sure we can analyze tomorrow.

Ok, so later Rachelmie asked Amerdia this question, and this was how Amerdia responded. Ok, so I had my mind made up already about these two, but hearing about this little exchange just confirmed it even more! I'm soooo firmly planted in my shipperdom ya'll, and no one can tell me otherwise. WOOTY McWOOT!! Benjellin' like a felon tonight!! Hugz and smoochies!!

b didn't react that i could tell, just kept on signing the object he had.
the whole scene seemed very natural, it only lasted probably 15secs
it's not something you would just do to any guy friend, it's a very intimate gesture IMO
