The news is sad, but it's true, it came from Benji's mouth. Lets stick together and comfort each other. That is what helped me handle to news, my fellow benjellers.
Benjelle brought us happiness and we should be happy for them individually.
I am heartbroken that he is not with Donyelle. However we should respect their choices.
I am afraid of the backlash this will cause for them and I hope none of you wonderful girls will participate in it.

I don't know what's going on, all I know that there is a rumor going on that last night Benji told someone that his girlfriend isn't Donyelle
I lurk over at the fox boards but some people over there apparently have some more information that I don't and aren't worried. They're talking it out and when they have everything they're waiting on, they'll tell us what they know.

It's true. A benjeller at the show asked Benji about the special someone and he confirmed that it is not Donyelle. It's true. And it is a very sad day in Benjelleland.

they're very optimistic and telling us not to abandon ship so i'll believe them but this still makes me very :(

If Benji's girlfriend is not Donyelle then why doesn't he tell us in his myspace? Mostly everyone assume its Donyelle on his blog and comments and yet he doesn't say anything to correct it. And there are many fans at the tour that ask who his girlfriend is and he choose not to answer. But all of a suddent he told one fan that its not Donyelle!?! If its not Donyelle then just tell us fans on his myspace already!!!! I'm tired of all these rumors!! I obviously in love with these two and they are a great couple and it would be GREAT if they wind up with each other. But i guess i'm just tired of these yes and no's.
...Thanks for the evidence. But Im still not giving up until I see it from Benji himself, on his myspace. After all, we do have some great fanfiction writers who are Benjelley. How do we know this is the truth? How do we know its not? Im not jumping ship until I see it on myspace. But thanks so much for giving me the other side of the story, I wouldnt want to sound ignorant.

i agree with anon above me... it's very fishy that he tells ONE fan and not others, and if he tells one fan why not tell us on myspace that it ISN'T donyelle? since he knows as soon as he told one person it would be all over the net
benji knew that as soon as he posted the gf blog a lot of people would assume that it was donyelle and still he hasn't corrected anyone (on myspace at least) and people could argue that he doesn't want to dash our hopes... but then why post something in the first place? why didn't he wait til after the tour is over?
i don't know, i'm going to wait until the regulars at the fox board come back with everything that they know

The fact that he has a new girl does not negate what we saw. It was real, it existed and they DO love each other. I believe that within my heart...the looks alone tell the story, it's friendship but it's so much more. Benji called them kindred spirits.
Unfortunately, they met at the wrong time. Donyelle was already involved and she still is, Benji has just moved on. He said that she was "loyal and faithful." Yes I wish that she had CTB, but she stayed loyal (sucks for us, but that was her choice).
This does not take away from the joy they gave us and all the new friendships we made.
I want them together so bad it hurts, but I have to accept that they are not. You never know, they have both said that they will be involved in each others lives forever and they will be dancing together after the tour. Maybe, later down the line these two will realize that what they have is special and spiritual. For now we can just wish them well.
The source to my knowledge is reliable. I will always ship them and I will always be a Benjeller because I believe what they have is the "real deal."

someone DID mention, however, that benji knew for a fact that the fan he told was a member of the benjelle LJ .... i'm not sure how to interpret this but some people are saying that he might have spoken too soon on his gf and had to backtrack so he told someone who he knew could get the word out quickly

What kind of Benjeller are you if you can only believe half the stuff that comes out of their mouths?? That's a terrible thing to do. He said it. That's fine. Or it should be. If you take every fan's tour reports to heart, why not this one? If you can't believe one, you can't believe any of them.

I don't know why Benji even mentioned about a "special someone" right now. He could of wait til the tour is over then tell his fans. I mean i remember him telling someone that the person he is with "is not offical." So why tell us fans now if its not official? Could he wait and tell us when its offical? If this rumors are true then why doesn't he stop thme by saying it on his myspace? I mean would it be better to say it himself on his myspace then to have someone at live jounal say it for him? Not many people will believe that member on live journal that Benji had actually said that. AND soon there will be rumors all over again!!!!!!

to anon at 3:48, yea i'm not sure how to analyze this either but apparently there are 2 possibilities
1 somehow benji didn't realize that his gf blog would make everyone assume it was donyelle and when everyone did he felt bad dashing our hopes so he tells a benjelle LJ member to break the news to us instead of him having to do it
2 it IS donyelle and he spoke too soon and yes, basically lied to the fan and after the tour he'll come out and say gotcha
um number 1 makes a lot more sense but i still don't see how he couldn't have known that we WOULDN'T assume his gf was donyelle. i also agree with others, he knows we want him and donyelle together, why didn't he wait til the tour was over to say anything because he basically just ruined the benjelle experience for people who haven't seen the show yet
something else that doesn't make sense is that he told this LJ member that he was seeing his gf today... i'm assuming that his new girl is someone that he's known for a while from back home... when in the world did they get a chance to start dating??? and why is she flying out to D.C. ???

Because every report good or bad needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Just because some person reports seeing Travis and Allison making out in some dark corner, doesn't mean I have to believe it.
Also, it's obvious that your comments and your 'Tough Love' tag are posted in such a way to promote bashing, but I'm going to adhere to Moose's rules about verbally checking fellow posters.

wow!!! everyone is kind of getting upset of Benji right now!!! i think sometimes Benji just confuses me even more.
Hints if its Donny:
1. He just smiles when someone ask if its donny
2. they both dress the same color of clothing at NYC
3. i read somewhere that when asked about that "special girl" he deny it each girl on the tour except for donny.
4. he doesn't even correct his fans when they assume its donny.
If not:
1. no clues at all.

I also believe the poster from LJ. I don't think she's lying at all BUT this just doesn't make a lot of sense. I'm really questioning Benji and his sense of timing. Maybe he's just so exhausted that he wasn't thinking BUT ... I wish he would have just kept avoiding the question because I agree that it does kinda ruin the Benjelle experience for future tourgoers.

Oh yeah, I can honestly say that I *LOVED LOVED LOVED* the montage!! I actually watched it 4 times before I came in to look at the comments and got sidetracked by the conversation!

I was taking it kind of hard when I wrote those comments. You know the the stages of grief?? Yeah, I was at anger. Now, I'm at acceptance. It's cool if you don't wanna forgive me, after rereading my comms, I made myself sound like a REALLY ass-y Benjeller. I'll just go back to lurking so I don't mess anything up. Was anyone at the Boston show Saturday night? I'm not sure if my eyes deceived me or not, but it looked like Benji kissed Natalie on or near her mouth during the show's Hairspray finale. He's just a very affectionate person it seems!

Hello all
I do not usually post but i do take great pleasure of reading the blogs and comments. I have been a benjeller from the beginning and i must admit that i fell in love with those two. Their story is one of a kind. I have been waiting for a long time for some great news about B & D getting together. So the last days were the best shippiest days.
I do think that those two are together and for some reasons they do not want everybody to know ( now). They might have their reasons as well. At the end, it is THEIR PRIVATE LIFE. I cannot start imagine living that kind of life where everything you do is analized. I do not think that we should be too demanding about the status of their relationship. Actuallly we should be gratefull that Benji gives us some hints from time to time. He does not owe it to us.
If we love them as we say we do. Give them some space and wait for them to announce us the good news.
We should not be worried, they are a couple, a wonderfull and cute one as well.
