What we have all been waiting for...

A BENJELLE CONTEMPORARY ROUTINE! :o SQUEE!
This made my day! Seriously, first the TMB bad dance...now this. =]

*insert doofy grin here*

Credit goes to my big cuzzy, Ray, who I love way too much! =] Ohoh, did this routine remind anyone of Quana's Missing You Like Crazy storyline?
...because...with that whole Krystle thing....like, Benji was dancing with Krystle during the marriage...yeah I'll shut up now. I don't make sense. XD

I didn't really get the story. =[ I feel stupid. But my sister and I think that it's about like this girl {Donny} who loves this guy {Benji} but then she meets this girl {That other girl who I like to call Krystle XD} and she falls in love with her. But then she still loves Benji, and so Benji realizes tht Donyelle should be with Krystle and not him. So he lets her go, and Donyelle is with Krystle. Yay! Donny's lesbian. =D

hahaha, well...that's just what I think the story is. XD

shutting up now. :]

I didn't get the story either but I was just happy to see them dance that it didn't matter..

Fav part was at 3:17..gah.. just no words...

Well...Donny was always a contemporary dancer, but they never "hyped it up" as much as her being a hip-hop dancer on the show. That always bothered me...I don't understand the story either, but it was danced beautifully.

Yay! Ryan's back! Glad to be back...[I think]...I dig La Familia collage. Sad that I didn't make it. You guys could've stolen a pic from my concert or my myspace though. So sad: my laptop was stolen a couple moths ago so all things Benjelle (all the cutesy photos and video)and SYTYCD Season 2 is all gone :( [tear]. I try not to think about it (although seeing these two videos makes me want all my moments back:( ). I haven't gotten into this season yet. I know Lacey made the show, but I really don't think this season can top the last. Vamos a ver!

OMG RYANN!! *attacks with huggles* ah, I wanted to include you in the montage but I didn't know how long you would be in Spain for...well I knew the 9 months thing (pregnant. haha remember that? XD) but I didn't know the remaining months. ahh, sorry. I still love you! <33

:o omg. How dare someone steal from a Benjelle Familia member?! I think that they've forgotten that Ora's a number one pimp! *gets Ora's pimp cane out for her* =] REVENGE! *evil laughter*

First off lmao at the Missing You Like Crazy interpretation of the dance. Taylor...XD

Secondly, OMG how much do I love this?!! Donny is absolutely amazing! I wish there was a close up version though so we could see their faces. But this one is still love. Benjelle contemp. SQUEEEE!

Does anyone know what the banner says? "'Benjelle' The Beat Is On!"?

Or is it "'Benjelle' The Heat Is On!"? Cause that one would be better and make more sense. I mean come on...It's Benjelle.

Donyelle and Benji doing contemporary. I never thought I would see it. Can I say that when I first saw this video, I didn't know it was Donyelle, but some other chick? I didn't recognize her at all. This girl is so ridiculously underrated it's unbelievable. This dance was TREMENDOUS. It's very emotional, passionate, powerful and vulnerable all at the same time. Had Benji and Donyelle performed this on tour or on the show, no other dance would have existed, not even the Viennese Waltz or "The Bench Routine." I literally cannot stop watching this. It's resoundingly beautiful. Mia would be proud.

MY LANDS!!!!!!!!

I have seen it all.

My life is complete.

A Benjelle contemporary piece?! That was beyond wonderful! That was everything I have hoped and dreamed of for a year (okay, not everything...Benji didn't propose to Donyelle, but still)!

I admit it. I finally admit it. I AM IN LOVE WITH BENJELLE. COMPLETE LOVE.

And Kamcey tonight was freaking quickstep-a-liciously wondeful tonight!

I'm going to go die of satisfaction now.

Okay, so I'm crying now. Haha.

this is just what i needed. it is now the season three bliss and all that stuff and i think nigel is trying to get everyone to fall for kamcey in the same way we fell for benjelle...

all i can say now...is there isnt anyone that can top their dancing from last season, and they still have it...they are invincible

The song is called "The Dumbing Down Of Love" by Frou Frou. Here's what I think the story's about (long read ahead!):

Donyelle's dancing in the beginnning by herself, signifying she's single. When Torri walks in notice how donny steps back, and that's when benji enters, signifying that she's in love with him but there's the problem of the other girl (torri). If you notice donny and torri's movements they mirror each other, like benji see's them both as potential candidates and has to choose from them or that he loves Donny and just wants Torri to be like her.

Then torri leaves and Benji's watching Donyelle dance, this may represent him slowly falling in love with her. Finally he gives in and they dance together, which represents a relationship they have on the down low (notice how some of Donyelle's movements seem unsure or hesitant, which may mean that she know's what they're doing is wrong because he also loves torri's character).

It all seems well, but at the end, even though Donny is the one he truly loves he leaves and chooses torri for whatever reason (I say this because once again, their movements mirror each other). Even though Donny and Torri know they both love the same man, they still become friends, as Benji would want them to be (hence him pushing torri toward donny and donny and torri huggin at the end like they made amends).

Of course, that's just ONE interpretation I have, but I was thinking, isn't that kinda the wway their real life situation may be going, except on Donny's end with Tahir (Tahir and Benji are friends now after all...) Maybe they were telling a real life story! THEIR real life story!

Torri's a teenager though.. a love story wouldn't really fit to me...

N E ways..still love the dance and Benjelle...

They are supposed to be enacting a story, they're characters and they all represent someone. Of course Torri is only a teen, she's not 'herself' in the dance, she represents someone else! lol

dslaodjasods.

BUENO!

But the song...meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhh...kinda ruined it for me.

But hehee...I bet there were in a nice, soundproof room when they choreographed this. *QUANA*

MAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway, I justw atched it all the way thru again...I don't get it.

:D

AH WELL.

Twas good, tho. But the song sounded like bagpipes, and I'm thinkin "ARE THEY IN IRELAND?!" I don't think so. So why don't we take the bagpipes out and opt for some guitars or something, jeez. Anyway, Donny was definitilyltlylt the star, she danced amazingly, Benji was great too. But I was laughing just he was just standing there for like an hour and a half and I'm all "DANCE, BENJI DANCE!" then he did, finally.

Very nice, very good. Romantic. Confusing. LIKE BENJELLE HAHAA.

well, frou frou is a british band, so the bagpipe (??) sound you hear is in it's right place
